Vault is an annual interdisciplinary publication featuring writing from scholars and professionals in biosciences, humanities, climatology, policy, bioethics, business, and finance along with biographical sketches of individuals, organizations, and firms featured at iV: The Ivy League Vegan Conference. The published articles represent the finest submissions chosen on the basis of intersectionality, novelty, and significance. The journal provides a rare depth of critical engagement with scholarly vegan thought and is intended for those wishing to engage seriously with the sweeping societal implications of a large-scale shift to plant-based diets and an evolving understanding of cognitive function throughout the animal kingdom.
Scholarly articles of 4-9 pages (1200-2500 words) in length are currently being accepted on any topic related to veganism, plant-based diets, and/or bioethics. As mentioned above, biographical sketches of individuals or companies are also encouraged and can be 2-3 pages (450-900 words). All page and word limits are negotiable. Current students and professionals from all discipline backgrounds are encouraged to submit, especially those writing on ambitious intersectional topics.
If you are interested in submitting a piece for publication, if you have an idea for a special article format, or if you have other questions about the journal, please email email@example.com. Attach any files of written work in a PDF format. The journal will feature original works and reprints.
